Mrs Davis and Mrs Hammons took 4-H students to the Tulsa State Fair today. The students who went had projects that won 1st place at the Adair Co Fair. Isabella Edgmon won 3rd place at the Tulsa State Fair for her photography entry. The kids and students had a great day. As you can tell, they tried lots of great food!

For the last few weeks, we’ve been studying the process of germination in Enrichment. Students created their own paper models and wrote about the process of plants. Today we concluded the lesson with an experiment with flowers and different food color dye to see how long it would take for the flowers to change color and which color showed up the best.

Charity Miller and her family had the opportunity to visit Oklahoma City State Capitol and spoke with family friend, Blake Stephens, Oklahoma Senator. She explained to the class one day she is going to run for governor of Oklahoma! Everyone said they would vote for her! What an amazing trip!
