Mr. R’s class went to the library and to the computer lab today to observe the habitats of a Gecko, salt water fish, and fresh water fish. Specifically what each used for Food, Water, and Shelter.

To go along with their Jamaica research project and tie in Red Ribbon week, the Enrichment kiddos tie dyed some oversized coffee filters using washable markers and spray bottles. The filters were then put together to make 2 colorful gigantic caterpillars. Around the caterpillars each student wrote why they want to stay drug free!

Our annual Pumpkin Contest will be next Tuesday! Forms are being sent home with the students.

This weeks story in Mrs. Davis’ class was “Bat Loves the Night”. They made vocabulary bats and put them in their bat cave.

Mr. R’s class created clouds of positivity yesterday! They were charged with coming up with positive words about themselves and then sticking it onto their name cloud.

Mr. R’s class has been working hard on team building and communication. This is a game where the entire class has to go 15yards by stepping inside the hoops without touching outside the hoops. They did very well but unfortunately ran out of time before they could get everyone across. We have no doubt they will beat this game very soon!
