Our December assembly was fun on this cold Thursday as we celebrated our students of the month, and we watched Mr. Merrie get a few more pies in the face!

On Tuesday Dec 2, our 1st grade classes took an exciting field trip to Northwest Arkansas to ride the Holiday Express. This festive journey took students, teachers, and many parents on a scenic trip through the beautiful Ozark Mountains while immersing them in holiday cheer. They sang songs, drank hot chocolate, and got a visit from Santa! It was a great day for our 1st grade and Prefirst to celebrate the spirit of the season.

Last week, a few of our 4H students competed in the 4H Virtual Skillathon! A few of them had top scores!🏆

🐷 Parents! It’s that time of year again… 🐷
That’s right — the Kiss the Pig competition is BACK! Our students get to vote on which brave teacher will have to pucker up and plant one right on a piggy’s snout! 🐽
Here’s how it works:
Send your child with some spare change to vote for the teacher they most want to see smooch the swine! The teacher with the most money “wins” (or maybe loses?) and will give our piggy friend a big ol’ kiss after Thanksgiving break!
