MTSS is a way we make sure students get the support they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We use student progress to guide instruction and provide different levels of support.
Tier 1: Quality classroom instruction for ALL students.
Tier 2: Extra small-group instruction for students who need a little more practice.
Tier 3: More individualized, intensive support for students who need additional help.
MTSS is NOT a label or a special education placement. It is simply a way to meet students where they are and help them reach their full potential!
