Throughout August, Stilwell Public Schools has been focusing on what it means to be Rooted in Community. Some of the strongest examples of community can be found in the people who step up, work together, and help us take care of our students.

Today, we want to recognize our valued community partner, Adair County EMS (ACEMS). Members of ACEMS volunteer their time at our Friday night home football games, providing an important layer of support for the safety of our student-athletes. We are incredibly thankful for their service, expertise, and continued commitment to Stilwell Public Schools and our community.

We are also proud to recognize our own Mrs. Leslee Ratliff! As a licensed medical professional and our School Nurse, Mrs. Leslee already plays an important role in caring for students throughout the school day. This year, that commitment will extend to our varsity athletic programs as well.

Mrs. Leslee will be in attendance at EVERY home AND away varsity football and basketball game, providing our student-athletes with the added benefit of having a familiar, licensed medical professional present on the sidelines—whether our Indians are competing at home or on the road.

Athlete safety is a priority for the Stilwell Athletic Department and Stilwell Public Schools, and we are grateful to have dedicated employees and community partners who share that commitment.
