Mrs. Hammon’s class was all ears for Disney day!



Mr. Fourkiller’s class learned about spiders and made some spider webs for their science lesson!

Mak placed 11th at the Cherokee Landing mile run this morning! Way to go Mak!

Mrs. O’Field’s class enjoyed their time at Livesay Farms today!



Mrs. Walker’s First Grade class traveled to Livesay Orchard Pumpkin Farm today. The weather was beautiful and the students had a great time!


Mrs. Carson’s class learned about the structure and function of their skulls. They created a mask that shares characteristics of their own skulls.


Mrs. Turner’s class created apple boats!
They got to choose the shape of their apple and then create the sail.
Then, they observed and tested their boats and wrote about what they learned!

Mrs. Walker’s First Grade class enjoyed Farmer’s Market held at school today!

3rd and 4th grade cross country teams showed off their speed and endurance at Carson Park this morning! Great job everyone!


Some of our 3rd and 4th graders ran at the Maryetta Cross Country meet this morning! Great job guys!

Mrs. Walker’s First Grade Class took a walking field trip around the neighborhood to go along with their reading story they had this week. They met some very special people along the way. They ended the walk with a sweet treat from McDonalds donated by a very special lady.


Today is National Custodian Day and we have the best around! Thank you to Thurman and Donna for all you do! You make our school a better place!

Mrs. Davis’ class read the story “Pop’s Bridge” and constructed bridges made out of a variety of materials!

Mr. R’s class has been learning about the classification of animals this week. Today they were able to see a Ball Python up close, then watch it slither on the ground outside!

Mrs. Turners class did an “Apple Tower STEM Challenge”
The object of the challenge was for each team to build the tallest freestanding structure on the floor within 15 minutes.
