Big thank you to FFA for surprising our second graders with Christmas presents today! They were so excited!





Mrs. Walker’s Elegant Party was a success! Thank you Rowan’s Restaurant for creating the perfect atmosphere and giving these children a special day!



Congratulations to Whitley Kester for being our first member of this year’s 100 Point Club!


Pre First enjoyed a Polar Express Day today at school. They made tickets to ride the train. Mr Lea was the conductor. They enjoyed hot chocolate and received a bell to help them believe in the spirit of Christmas. It was a wonderful day!





Santa visited our kiddos at lunch today!



Our running club participated in a virtual Ugly sweater run last Friday. 1st place Creed, 2nd Luke and 3rd River.
We also had a drawing for a new pair of running shoes. Our winner of the new shoes was Landon!




Third grade took a trip to Fletcher Park today!





Lots of fun on Christmas head gear day!





We saw some pretty amazing Christmas sweaters today!


Mrs. Davis’ class enjoyed happy meals and Christmas movies today!


The fourth grade classes took a trip to the town Christmas tree! A big thank you to Judge Brown for turning on the lights and music!


Pre First celebrated the movie by Dr Seuss, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas today”! It was a very fun filled day with lots of Grinch Fun! Cindy Lou Who even made an appearance!





The first graders did a wonderful job in all 3 Nutcracker performances this week! After 44 years the tradition is still going strong!

The next two showings will be at 6 PM tonight and 9:30 AM tomorrow.


4H members attended a candy making workshop this morning! Yum!





Mrs. Carson’s class did experiments over mixtures. They learned what makes a solution or a suspension!




Mrs. Fishinghawk’s class experimented with different mixtures today!





More gingerbread houses!




Mrs. Denny hosted a gingerbread house contest last week for the 1st-4th grade and had an amazing turnout! There were 60 entries total and 3 winners were chosen from each grade. The winners were rewarded with a Christmas party this morning in the library.
