This Thursday is International Dot Day, based on the book “The Dot” written by Peter H. Reynolds.
Wear your dots to school! Students can wear any type of clothing with dots, or they can create their own dots with stickers or paint and wear them to school.
We can’t wait to see what they come up with!

The 3rd grade took a trip to the courthouse this morning to go along with their story “The Case of Cardigan Jones”.

Mrs. Brown’s second grade class had a visitor today! Anniston Patterson brought her bunny to class for a visit!
Some of our 4H members from the grade school and middle school helped with concession at the Adair County Fair this morning!

Our 3rd and 4th grade softball teams played their first round of games in the Maryetta tournament today!
Today is International Literacy Day! Pre First read stories about dinosaurs. Their favorite was How To Catch A Dinosaur. Mrs. Hammons bought them dinosaur shaped chalk and they designed traps and drew pictures of dinosaurs on the side walk!
Today is a great day to celebrate the educational opportunities we have, and keep working towards creating opportunities for everyone to receive an education! Why are you grateful for your education? What has your education helped you accomplish?

Mrs. Brown’s class enjoyed Fry Bread Friday! They read the story Fry Bread by Kevin Nobel Maillard and enjoyed some fry bread with honey!
Mr. Fourkiller's class learned all about Labor Day and why we celebrate it!

This morning we had our first Leader in Me Assembly in almost 3 years!
Third grade presented the 7 Habits, then we congratulated our Students of the Month, Cherokee Students of the Month, Artists of the Month, and Teacher of the Month!
We ended it in style with a big dance party!
