Today in Mrs. Brown’s class, after reading Officer Buckle and Gloria for their weekly story, Mr. Robert discussed safety tips with their class. He demonstrated what a fireman looks like in full uniform so the children knew not to be afraid if they see a fireman in uniform. We greatly appreciate Mr Robert for teaching us about safety and we are so thankful he is such a wonderful protector for us all!

Mrs Brown’s class won all their class brownie points and chose a popcorn-pop-movie for their reward! Woohoo! Good job class!
Brownie points are given when another adult compliments the entire class for good behavior or manners, or following rules, and such, so they earn a brownie point!

Our 3rd and 4th grade Enrichment students went on a shopping trip this morning to Dollar Tree and WalMart to find gifts for the residents at Stilwell Nursing Home!
Each student picked out a snack and one other item such as: lipstick, socks, razors, and lotion. Then we added pop, puzzles, and other various items.
We dropped off our gifts along with some Christmas cheer on our way back to school!
We had a great morning spreading some joy in our community!

Mrs. O'Field's 2nd grade class went with Mrs. Fourkiller's 4th grade class to the Armory to watch The Grinch & have popcorn, cookies & drinks this past Tuesday!

The elves are back for a visit in Pre 1st and the force is strong in this classroom. Anakin and Holly the elf have turned the bubble wands into floating light sabers! May the Christmas spirit, be strong in all of us!
4th grade presented Habit 3 at the assembly this morning, then we awarded all of our Students, Artists, Cherokee Students, and Teacher of the Month! At the end we had a big dance off party and 3rd grade took the trophy!

Pre First celebrated Grinch Day today!

We would like to invite everyone out to “Christmas with the Cooks!” An all you can eat pancake breakfast starting at 7 AM till 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 3rd.
This will help raise funds to purchase 700 gifts for every child in preschool through fourth grade here at the grade school.
The pancake breakfast will take place at Impact church two blocks north of the elementary school. The cost is $8 for adults and children, and $1 for each year of age for any kid under five years of age.
