Today, Mrs Brown’s class traveled through the universe in our balloon rockets. They measured the distance their ships traveled and why some didn’t go as far as others. They have studied stars, planets, rockets, and moons. Newtons laws were discussed and new vocabulary words used. To end it all they had moons pies and star crunch with capri suns. The packaging for the capri sun was originally designed for astronauts to use in space! The Dragon capsule landing was watched as well as various videos about space. “ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND.”
Sounds like one delicious science lesson!

Today’s Student Spotlight is on Kharizma Wing, Sofia Ramirez, and MaKenzie Sidebottom from Ms. Brewer’s class!
Ms. Brewer nominated these three students because: “Sofia always has a smile for everyone she meets! Her giggle is contagious and we all love her in our class! MaKenzie is a student who just returned to us recently, and her willingness to help, and her desire to always be a great friend make her wonderful to be around! Kharizma is always willing to help out wherever she is needed! She is kind to her classmates and she always is the first to step up to run an errand for me! These three girls make life soooo good!! Thank you girls for being so awesome!”
