Here's what's going on this week!

This year's SGS pumpkin contest will be virtual! 💻

Instead of packing your pumpkins to school during the busy week of Halloween, all you have to do is snap a photo(s) and email your creations! 📸

You have until 3 PM on Tuesday, October 28th to send pumpkin photos to mrichardson@stilwellk12.org.

The main photo must include a note with the student's name, grade, and the date. Voting will take place the following Wednesday and Thursday, winners will be announced that Friday.

Read the information below and start brainstorming your ideas! We can't wait to see them all! 🎃

This Wednesday is Walk to School Day!

Meet us at the bandstand between 6:45-7:20 to join us as we walk to school!

🌟 Student Shout-Out: Kevin Hernandez! 🌟

Kevin showed an amazing act of kindness this week! He saved up 50 coins that he earned for his own good behavior — but instead of choosing something for himself, he decided to cash them in for a prize for his sister. 💕 Because Kevin was so thoughtful and caring, he also received a special reward just for him.
Way to go, Kevin! Keep up the great work and continue thinking of others — your kindness makes a big difference! 👏

Students from each class were paired off and competed in a mummy game this morning!

Students had to be wrapped and use all of their single roll of toilet paper and streamer to win! The winning pair won a bag of candy for their classes!

Our winners were SJ and Briar!

We recognized our students of the month from each class, special class, and athletics in our assembly this morning!

50 Shades of Sweets will be here tomorrow afternoon selling snow cones for our 4H Club future events.

There will be a concession today for 1st-4th grade in the afternoon.

Our 3rd and 4th grade cross country runners will compete in their first race this morning at Carson Park!

We’re bringing the fun to the floor with Dance Classes just for you! 🎶✨

🌟 1st & 2nd Grade:
Mondays | 3:00 – 4:00 PM

🌟 3rd & 4th Grade:
Tuesdays | 3:00 – 4:00 PM

💥 NO COST – That’s right, it’s totally FREE!

📍Spots are limited, so don’t wait!
📄 Sign-up forms will be available starting next week in the Grade School Office or can be picked up from Extended Day.

Today is round 2 of the Rocky Mountain Festival!

Our Stilwell Red teams will take on Maryetta at 10:20 and 11:10.

This is an update for all parents/guardians who have mini cheerleaders performing this evening:

The game times have changed. The first game will now start at 5 instead of 4. The mini cheerleaders will be performing between games instead of halftime of the 7/8 grade game.

They will need to be brought behind the home side bleachers during the 4th quarter of the first game for the performance.

Our 3rd and 4th grade softball teams will compete in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Festival this afternoon!

Students had a great time learning traditional games like marbles and stickball during our cultural activity! This event was hosted by the Stilwell Full Service Community and the Cherokee Pride II grant programs.
