Attention parents! End of the year testing is rapidly approaching! It is so very important that your child come to school daily and on time. 3rd and 4th grades will be testing the weeks of April 16th and April 29th.

Today is National School Librarian Day!
We want to recognize our amazing librarian, Mrs. Heather Denny!
Heather does a fantastic job in our library! She does many reading projects with our students from Kindergarten to 8th graders, and makes the library a super fun place to visit! She has spent many hours getting the library to where it is today! We appreciate her hard work and dedication to our school!

Today's Teacher Spotlight is on one of our outstanding 4th grade teachers: Amanda Fourkiller!

Some of our running club members participated in the virtual 5k run after school today. We are so proud of everyone that completed the race and didn’t give up! It was a tough 3.2 miles in the cold. 🥶
Top 3 runners were:
Kaylee Caldwell 1st place
Riyaan Gandhi 2nd place
Dakota Evans 3rd place

There is a blood drive going on at the grade school gym today from 1-6 PM!
Today’s Student Spotlight is on 3rd grader, Charity Miller!
Mrs. Denny nominated Charity because she is sweet, makes great choices, and is always respectful and attentive!

Happy Easter!
Not a whole lot going on this week, but we do get a full week of school!
A few of our 4H kiddos competed in Speech and Demonstration today!
Jaidyn Girdner placed 1st place in 4th grade Illustrated talk,
Winnie Talbot and Annabelle Ford placed 2nd in 4th grade team demonstration, Ryne Fourkiller and Kaylynn Thomas placed 3rd grade team speech and demonstration.

This past Tuesday we had 5 of our kiddos participate in the Future Chef contest!
4th grader Jaidyn Girdner won first place with her Sticky Ham & Cheese Sliders!
Her recipe will entered into the contest to go to the National level where only 5 recipes will be chosen. If her recipe gets chosen, a team of chefs will come to our school and video her making her sliders along with a famous chef! How exciting!
Congratulations to all of our other participants: Brentley Liles, Shelby Pack, Charlee Gardenhire, and Chevelle Hopkins!
