I’m Kayla James, and I have worked in the school system for nine years. This is my fourth year at Stilwell Public Schools, where I have the joy of teaching four-year-olds and helping them begin their journey of learning. My husband, Nathan, and I are blessed with a daughter, Brooklyn, and two sons, Ethan and Evan. I cherish time with my family and singing in church, both of which bring me great joy.
In my classroom, I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels safe, loved, and valued. It is an honor to be part of their first school experiences and to watch them grow in confidence, kindness, and wonder. I am especially grateful for my assistant, Claire, whose support and love for our students help make our classroom a place where children truly thrive.
