walk to school

On Wednesday, October 8th a great group of Pre-k, Kindergarten, and Grade School students participated in the annual walk to School Day. This event is partnered with Cherokee Nation Public Health and TSET IMPACT Network. The goal of this event was to promote physical activity, teach safe pedestrian and bicycling skills, and share time with community leaders, parents, and children. Over 30 students showed up early to the bandstand to make the walk or roll to school. Thank you to community partners for providing fun learning opportunities for our students!
