On Monday September 29, the SMS Cheerleaders hosted their annual mini cheerleader performance between the 5/6 and 7/8 football games. SMS Cheer coach Tiara Fourkiller said " This clinic is not only exciting for the kids, but also an important fundraiser for our middle school cheer program. The funds help purchase uniforms, poms, and more!" 73 future Stilwell Indian Cheerleaders took the field to perform for the crowd, and what a crowd it was! Thank you parents, friends, and families for filling the stands and supporting all of our Stilwell Indians. The value of this experience is clear in the words of parent Seth Richardson , "I appreciate the cheer clinic because of the confidence it gave my daughter. Normally, she is very shy ( unlike me)and she freezes in front of people, but last night I saw a little 5 year old conquer her fear. She cheered her little heart out with confidence and joy. Doesn't get any better than that!"
