On April 29th, Stilwell High School will be hosting a Rookie Camp for the upcoming freshmen. They will tour the school, meet teachers and students, and be fed. They will be dropped off at the Stilwell High School gym around 8:45 and will leave around 2:00. Every year students are given the opportunity to come and see what Stilwell High School has to offer. We usually accommodate around 200 students on that day. Last year was a success with various student activities including a live concert!
These public forums are part of Mullin’s fourth round of in-person town hall meetings to be held in Oklahoma’s Second Congressional District. Registration is not required to attend Mullin’s town hall meetings.
“I want to be accessible to the Oklahomans I am blessed to represent. The feedback and input I receive at my town hall meetings is extremely valuable,” said Mullin. “I’m looking forward to answering questions about the work I do in Congress and giving people across the Second Congressional District more information about the ways my team and I can help them cut through red tape in Washington.”
Student Council leaders participated with responsibilities such as the opening prayer, pledge, and introduction, as well as welcoming visitors.
